The chartering and the departure of the vessel takes place normally if the prevailing winds at the reception point do not exceed the scale of 5 Beaufort and after permission of the port authorities. In case of bad weather, Spetses Cruising will contact the client well in advance of the embarkation date to propose alternative routes and/or dates. . If port police does not allow the boat to perform the charter activity due to bad weather and no alternative itinerary cannot be arranged, the company will refund the full amount paid by the customer.
Should, for any reason, the charter is cancelled by the Client, the Client should inform Spetses Cruising via e-mail about the cancellation without delay. If no notice of cancellation is received, then the Client will be subject to the Spetses Cruising Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation policy: In the event of cancellation of the charter by the Charterer, for any reason, the following cancellation policy will apply depending on the time- interval between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date: a. Policy of "Dossier's expenses" (150 Euro minimum) will be applied for bookings cancelled in time period up to 90 days prior to boat embarkation. b. Cancellation fee of 30% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period from booking to 60 days prior to boat embarkation.
c. Cancellation fee of 50% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 60-50 days prior to boat embarkation.
d. Cancellation fee of 80% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 50 - 30 days prior to boat embarkation.
e. Cancellation fee of 100% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 30 days prior to boat embarkation.
The same applies on non-show up cases.
