The chartering and departure of the vessel proceed under normal circumstances if the prevailing winds at the reception point do not exceed a scale of 5 Beaufort and upon permission from the port authorities. In the event of adverse weather conditions, Spetses Cruising will proactively contact the client well in advance of the embarkation date to propose alternative routes and/or dates. If the port authorities prohibit the boat from conducting charter activities due to inclement weather and no alternative itinerary can be arranged, the company will refund the full amount paid by the customer.

If, for any reason, the charter is canceled by the Client, immediate notification must be provided to Spetses Cruising via email.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation by the Charterer, the following cancellation policy will be applied based on the time interval between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date:

​

a. Dossier's Expenses: A minimum fee of 150 Euros will be applied for bookings canceled up to 90 days prior to boat embarkation.

b. A cancellation fee of 30% of the total charter fee for bookings canceled within the period from booking to 60 days prior to boat embarkation.

c. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total charter fee for bookings canceled within a period of 60-50 days prior to boat embarkation.

d. A cancellation fee of 80% of the total charter fee for bookings canceled within a period of 50-30 days prior to boat embarkation.

e. A cancellation fee of 100% of the total charter fee for bookings canceled within a period of 30 days prior to boat embarkation.

The same policy applies in cases of non-show.
